PARALEGAL TRIAL PREPARATION AND ASSISTANCE

I am a senior paralegal/law clerk with over 10 years of experience in civil trial litigation. Effective communication and real-world courtroom experience are central to my work. I bring a unique and practical understanding of the court system, having successfully represented myself in civil, probate, and family court proceedings. While I am not an attorney, I fully understand the pressures, preparation, and precision required for hearings and trial. My hands-on experience working with judges, court clerks, and opposing counsel provides insight that only comes from firsthand courtroom involvement.

My professional background extends well beyond the legal field. I owned and operated an auto repair business, giving me a strong working knowledge of vehicles and engines. I have experience in banking, with an understanding of both commercial and personal loans. I hold a motorcycle license, have owned and operated a catering business as a trained chef, and have worked in both large and small law firms. I also raised four children independently—an experience that sharpened my organization, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, which shapes my approach to litigation support. Many of my favorite novels are written by attorneys—such as Hannah Kristin—whose work is rooted in historical events. This reinforces a core belief of mine: every case has a story, and every case that goes to court must tell a compelling one.

Developing a persuasive case narrative requires far more than AI-generated timelines. It requires human judgment to identify missing evidence, inconsistencies, and critical details—whether they strengthen or challenge the case—so the authentic story can emerge.

I founded Trials and Timelines to support aggressive trial attorneys in preparing for depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial.

Experience includes: Civil litigation support, trial preparation, discovery, motions and pleadings, trial exhibits, and comprehensive paralegal assistance across all phases of litigation..
